its difficult to post something like this without looking completely ignorant. im not trying to “school” anyone on the life and accomplishments of etienne jules-marey. i just think its incredible that one man could be so influential in early cardiology, anatomy, physiology, locomotion, cinematography and aviation.
i first learned about etienne jules-marey when studying photography years ago. i find it facinating that his research could influence so many seemingly un-related areas of study.
